Soaring to New Heights.

Kids Space
Upstairs on the Mezzanine is TASM's new discovery-based, hands-on exhibit: "RadioActive Flight!" Using a remote controlled flight simulator, future pilots experience first-hand the thrill and the challenges of flight. Visitors can choose from a selection of aircraft to fly and challenge their navigation skills.

Spartan Executive Model 12
Near the end of World War II, Tulsa’s Spartan Aircraft Company was looking for a new product to take them into the post-war era and that product was the Spartan Executive Model 12.  Only one was built and that one is now part of the TASM collection.

The MD-80 Airplane - donated to TASM by American AirlinesMD-80
Donated to TASM by American Airlines, the MD-80 plane was moved from Tulsa International Airport to its permanent place between Hangar One Museum and the planetarium in early 2014. Through a fundraising campaign and donations, TASM invested $700,000 to convert the MD-80 into a discovery center. All seats, except for first class, were removed and the interior was redesigned for functional event and classroom space, including a restroom, wet bar area, and handicap accessibility.
The MD-80 must be reserved through the Event Coordinator or Education Department or private events and educational activities.
